This January, I’m taking on a personal challenge to raise awareness of dementia and the vital care and support families need every day.
​
I’ll be walking 50 miles throughout the month, raising funds for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity. Dementia doesn’t just affect individuals, it impacts entire families and no one should have to face it alone.
​
Dementia UK’s Admiral Nurses provide life-changing support to families, offering practical advice, emotional reassurance, and expert guidance when it’s needed most.
​
Every donation, no matter the size, truly makes a difference.
For example, £33 could fund one hour of an Admiral Nurse’s time, helping a family in their community cope with their loved one and the challenges dementia brings.
