Another useful resource comes from Charles Duhigg Author of The Power of Habit.
Charles identifies to create a new habit you need to put together a cue, a routine, and a reward, then associate a craving that drives the loop.
You can't remove a bad habit, you can only change it by using the same cue, provide the same reward, but change the routine.

What is common between both Charles and James approaches is that there needs to be an awareness to create, change or break a habit.

Top Tip: In your Strive25 Journal create a Habit Tracker page each month. Be sure to notice both habits you are trying to create as well as habits that you at first were unaware of and that you feel could do with changing. .
Another book/ video that can support the importance of habits is Tiny Habits Method by BJ Fogg. This video provides a really nice concept for creating Tiny Habits to lead to big changes.
